FIX: Windows 10 goes to sleep after 2-3 minutes or randomly. (Solved)
Does your computer goes into sleep mode randomly or after 2-3 minutes of inactivity and for no apparent reason? If so, follow the instructions to solve the issue.
Some users reported that their computer suddenly goes to sleep randomly or after 2-3 minutes of inactivity. The issue may occur on either laptops or desktops computers and usually occurs after upgrading Windows 10 to a most recent version.
In this guide you will find instructions to stop Windows 10 from going into sleep mode randomly, or after 2 minutes of inactivity.
How to FIX: Windows 10 Going to Sleep after few minutes of inactivity or at random times.
Caution: If you own a laptop computer and its going to sleep randomly, make sure that you do not wear anything with a magnet in your hands (e.g. a magnetic bracelet), or that you do not have something magnetic near your laptop (e.g. your mobile phone that has a magnet in its case). A magnet, when it is near the bottom corner, may trigger the laptop to go to sleep because it thinks you've closed it! If you want to bypass this problem, look at the end of this article.
