Ended up getting my Win 11 deactivated because I bought a new motherboard. Who knew Windows has 'OEM Device' versions which are tied to hardware? I certainly didn't. Nobody expects to lose their operating system license after a hardware upgrade. Pure nonsense.

The get.activated.win thing saved my bacon, thanks.

You and me both. Microsoft really leaves you in the lurch if you upgraded from a previous version to 11.
