    These things did not work for me. I did find a way to get this to work however. Windows 11, switch to use local account, set simple password, reboot. Remove Work or School account. Reboot. Switch to use Microsoft account and follow the prompts and it will let you set up a PIN. It still will show unavailable if you look in the settings but you now will have a damn PIN. Windows is such a crap OS. One would think by now they would solve any and all problems with personal PCs!
