Konstantinos is the founder and administrator of Wintips.org. Since 1995 he works and provides IT support as a computer and network expert to individuals and large companies.     Can't thank you enough for this excellent article. Thought I'd lost everything and was on the verge of re-loading windows, worked my way through your very clear instructions and the very last suggestion of copying the 'software' file across from the backup folder did the trick. Thank you.

    Thanks alot. Method 1 did not work on my system but method 2 worked. My system is now in good working condition

    i try a lot but it is not working in windows 10 and always in the end show interactive sign in process initialization has failed.

      @arian: Try the following process:
      1. Enable the Administrator account Offline.
      2. Boot to Windows and Sign-in as Administrator.
      3. Create a New User and assign to it Administrative privileges (follow the instructions in method 2 from this article).
      4. Sign Out and Sign-in, to the new user.
      5. Transfer your personal files and data from the old account to the new one.
